At Friendship, giving and serving are fundamental to how we believe God has called us to live. We believe that God calls us to serve not only with our resources, time and talent but foremost with all that we are; surrendered to Him – the maker, creator, giver of all good things. “Serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,” Deuteronomy 10:12.
We believe that we are to serve God in service to others, giving of our time and our talents, joyfully -“Serve the Lord with gladness, come before His presence with singing,” Psalm 100:2, believing that we have served others, we have indeed served God, – “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you did for me,” Matthew 25.40.
